King County Library System Immigrant Stories Project

The King County Library System (KCLS)  Immigrant Stories Project KCLS is seeking participants willing to share their immigrant experience - personal history, what life was like before arriving to the U.S. and what life is like now. Stories will be audio recorded and will become part of a collection to raise awareness of the diversity of King County’s immigrant population. Stories will be uploaded to a KCLS YouTube channel for public listening and presented through special programming.
Please contact if you or someone you know is: -An immigrant at least 18 years old -Have conversational English skills -Are willing to give KCLS permission to audio record your story and take photos of you Selected storytellers will receive a $25 gift card and a copy of their audio story on CD.
